In-Office Procedures

We have a state-of-the-art in-office procedure room where we can safely and effectively carry out procedures either under local or general anesthesia.

Balloon Sinuplasty is a proven, simple sinus procedure designed to open blocked sinus passages, allowing for adequate airflow and drainage. The goal of the procedure is to end the cycle of recurrent sinusitis (repeated sinus infections) once and for all. The procedure is pretty straightforward and our surgeons at Triangle Sinus Center perform it in our offices as an outpatient procedure.

The beauty of balloon sinuplasty is that the inflated balloon gently opens and reshapes the sinus passage without requiring tissue or bone removal. In addition, there is minimal post-operative pain and little to no downtime as most patients return to normal activities within a day or two!

Balloon Sinus Dilation or Balloon Sinuplasty

In endoscopic sinus surgery we use small cameras and instruments to work carefully in the nose to remove obstructing tissues, allowing the sinuses to drain more naturally. At Triangle Sinus Center we have invested in a stereotactic surgical navigational system to improve accuracy and efficiency during the procedure. In fact, we are our physicians are among the very first and very few who have the surgical navigation system in the office.

Post surgery there is no to very minimal bleeding, no facial swelling or bruising and our surgeons do not pack the nose. Most of our patients report need for pain medications for a day or two. Most of them go back to work in a couple of days.

This procedure helps to decrease the severity, frequency, and duration of infections and reduces the symptoms of chronic sinusitis.

Minimally-invasive In-office Endoscopic Sinus Surgery

If you suffer with constant runny nose, drainage down your throat (post nasal drip) and/or congestion and have tried multiple medication without success, you may have non-allergic (vasomotor) rhinitis. ClariFix could be your simple solution!

ClariFix is an innovative cryotherapy (localized freezing) device for patients who suffer from chronic rhinitis. ClariFix uses a cooling probe to freeze a small, inflamed area in the back of the nose. Freezing the tissue helps relieve the inflammation.
